Honest answer: because it's harder than it looks, and the space is full of scams. Most people who see "5% per month" correctly assume fraud — because 99% of the time, that's exactly what it is. For those who look past that, the real challenges are: the risk is genuine (our max drawdown was 31%, meaning capital can temporarily fall significantly), the setup takes real effort and some learning, and consistent returns aren't guaranteed. Markets change. Some months are 2%, some are 35%. People also tend to panic during drawdowns and pull out at exactly the wrong moment. A savings account at 2% beats a trading system you abandon at the first bad week. So no, this isn't for everyone — and we'd rather tell you that upfront than oversell it.
Most likely yes — and we'd rather tell you upfront than let you find out the hard way. In most countries, frequent or leveraged trading income is treated differently from passive investing. While long-term index fund gains often benefit from favourable tax treatment, systematic automated trading is typically classified as speculative or professional income and taxed accordingly. The exact rules vary significantly by country, so we strongly recommend talking to a local tax advisor before you start. It doesn't change the math — it just changes how you plan around it.
